Before it had a name
Our ancestors already understood wellness.
Tigernut for energy. Moringa for strength. Dates, baobab, groundnut — chosen not for trend, but for what they did for the body. That knowledge was never written on a label. It was just known.
Somewhere along the way, convenience arrived, and a lot of that wisdom got left behind. Healthy started meaning imported. Functional started meaning foreign.
We don't think it should be one or the other.
We're building Vika Foods — an African functional-nutrition company, starting in Nigeria, built for the world. The same ingredients that already worked, given the science, the taste, and the standard to stand anywhere on the globe.
